“Our birthdays …

“Our birthdays are feathers in the broad wing of time.” Jean Paul Richter

Yup, it’s my birthday.  I turned 23 today at 4:04pm, that’s right I get serious about this stuff haha.  I just like being precise in these things.  I found that quote in one of my Tea Time magazines and thought it was adorable!  About turning 23, I don’t feel any different…maybe by tomorrow I’ll feel strange but probably not.  After all it’s just another year, 365 days.  It was fun to log on to facebook and see my page flooded with birthday wishes, and it was even better getting texts from the few people who actually know when my birthday is haha.  My wonderful parents sent me flowers this morning and they smell delicious!

Some people would say I need to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of turning 21…but I’m ok with being 23.

Well, I’m off to make a cup of tea, then to cast on and knit a swatch for a sweater.  I need to figure out how many more balls of yarn I need.

Yup, I’m ok with being 23.
